It has been such a long time since I have written on my blog. What is the reason for this? Well, first of all my daughter moved back home after college - I seemed to spend a lot of my time having great discussions with her and watching the best trashy TV programmes. On the downside I seemed to spend a lot of time tidying up after her! However, the lovely girl has since left home and now I have more time to myself!

The other reason I stopped blogging was I became the exasperated owner of a kitten who appears to be psychotic. Love him to bits but boy is he hard work, He is now almost 2 years old, he sleeps all day but is my best friend in the night and demands a lot of my attention between the hours of midnight and 6am. He isn't the most affectionate of cats -his idea of waking me up is to bite me on the nose! He won't let anyone hold him and he has never sat on my lap. I have never owned a cat before and didn't expect the experience to be like this. I worry about him constantly and he takes up a lot of my time but I love him to bits and I wouldn't part with him but having cured myself of insomnia (divorce - drastic I know but worth it)! I am now having interupted sleep because of the bloody cat! Anyway, here is a picture of him.
